St. Gertrude Bishop's Apostolate

Since his consecration in November 1993, the Most Rev. Daniel Dolan has ministered to groups of faithful Catholics in America, Canada, Mexico, France, Belgium, Italy, Brazil and Argentina. He has ordained priests for the Institute Mater Boni Consilii (Italy), Trento (Mexico), Most Holy Trinity Seminary, Brooksville, Florida, and for his own Salesian Sacerdotal Society.

The center of Bishop Dolan's apostolate is St. Gertrude the Great Church, West Chester, Ohio. St. Gertrude's (or SGG) is known world-wide for its preservation and exacting observance of the unreformed Catholic rites, which since 2005 it has webcast live via internet to faithful Catholics throughout the world.

Bishop Dolan, through his St. Gertrude Bishop's Apostolate, also supports poor traditional Catholic clergy and their work in the following countries:

  • Mexico
  • Ukraine
  • Argentina
  • Brazil
  • Nigeria

Since 2016, St. Gertrude Bishop's Apostolate has also been supporting a seminary for native traditional clergy in Lagos, Nigeria, operated by one of Bishop Dolan's priests, to prepare them to complete their studies at Most Holy Trinity Seminary in Florida. The priest also serves six missions, spread throughout the south of the county. See the videos below, courtesy of True Restoration.
